Anyone can cook

Thanksgiving family time has ended and the weekend is all that stands between me and finishing up the semester.  I plan to hold tight to the weekend and try to accomplish as much as possible because these remaining weeks are going to turn quite hellish.  I might need to stop sleeping all together.

Here’s a few more Thanksgiving photos…  Christopher’s parents, sister, and grandparents came to Lynchburg for a few days.

Oh yeah, my cousin Scott and his wife Allison are expecting their second baby in April.  They’ll find out the gender in a couple of weeks.

no, really

So much has been going on lately, it is hard to keep track. Chelse is dilated by a centimeter, so Matthew should be born within the next couple of weeks. Sadly, I won’t be able to be there for the birth of this one due to school. If she could just hold on until mid-December, then I could. Oh well…

We are fortunate enough at Liberty to get an entire week off for Thanksgiving break and so I was able to spend a few days with my family. We had a pre-Thanksgiving dinner with them all.

Sydney looking very concerned in front of my very pregnant sister.

We played fetch with the dogs in the backyard and Sydney followed them around asking, “Where’s the ball?” She finally fits into the amazing hoodie that I gave her for her first birthday that I got from Forever 21. Yesterday we returned to Lynchburg, me with a scratchy throat and a bottomless pit of a stomach (which often accompanies sickness with me for some reason). Today has largely been spent lounging around, some cleaning, and then teasing Abed-nego with a drill.

I saw this commercial today and pretty much feel in love with it.

“Let’s see if we’re that strong.”

I have my jacket and shoes on.  I refuse to take them off; it has gotten cold.  This morning it was cold, cold, cold in the apartment (68 degrees, which I guess isn’t too bad), but now it is up to 72.  The benefits of living on the top floor.

The weather makes me want to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Crazy that we only have one more book to read for Faulkner…  Where did this semester go?  Just a step closer to graduation.  Can’t wait so I can feel normal and gain some security.  All in due time, I suppose.
